S2C R 40/80 Underwater Acoustic Modem

S2CR 40/80 is a high-speed communication device, providing data transfer rates up to 27.7 kbit/s over a 2000 m range. A directional transducer beam pattern (70 deg) makes it applicable in vertical or slant channels or for stationary systems. High operating frequency ensures great performance even in noisy environments.

Applications

  • Short and medium-range operations
  • Data transmissions in vertical or slant channels
  • Underwater observatories
  • Underwater acoustic sensor networks
